Starting a marketing company has always been an incredible dream for me. No doubt it's not easy, but when I started out several years ago to start one I knew I was onto something big! I coupled my educational degree, which happens to be in management and marketing and I worked for a while as a business manager to get experience.
After the initial experience which I felt limited me as I was always a "go getter" I decided to take my skills to a new level and decided to start my journey of not only learning the Internet, but with more than that, a dream and vision to take my personal desire of Entrepreneurship and marketing knowhow to a whole new level. I had much to learn.
If I could sum anything up I would say I accomplished a number of things as I have incorporated learned knowledge and its resulting skills as a result of what I've learned into my life that has given my life purpose as well as balance. I believe that is what should strive to become as individuals which strive for excellence in our daily lives. When we make a decision, because it is a decision to do so, we become more invaluable to ourselves as well as the world around us.
The world gives to those in equal measure what we bring to its "table". If we put nothing there, we should expect nothing! When we are contributors, then we can and should expect to receive what we put out in equal or grater measure. If we want to see things happen and change take place in the world around is, we simply must strive to become active participants and nurture ourselves on a consistent basis so we will see change where we live.
Its easy to shirk the responsibility when we are looking at everyone else. When we make a conscious decision to look at the person in the mirror, we may not like what we see at the time, but we also must realize in order for external changes to take place, the internal must change in equal measure in order to see outward balance. When we blame, and it is easy to so, we really don't get anywhere and see differences in us, and in the world. When we change, the view and perspective begins to change.
We are the "pivot" point and the world around us the circumference. Look at life that way and you will begin see a different view!!
Being an Entrepreneur has allowed me to spread “my wings†and become the individual I was destined to become. A very successful internet entrepreneur, writer, blogger, and owner of several online businesses. Being an entrepreneur has allowed me to become my “authentic†self and become the leader and the person and the woman I was created to be. I am proud of that!
In my own eyes, I have not only changed my life and destiny but, I am sure to have changed the lives pf those in my community as well. That’s what entrepreneurship does and continues to to do in the positive direction of change.
Business experience and skills:
My first industry of learning was Affiliate Marketing. Affiliate marketing opened my eyes and ears to the online world. I really embraced this area of Internet Marketing because of the tremendous amount of Brand partnerships and analysis that goes along with this area of Internet Marketing. Affiliate Marketing also gave me my first opportunity to work with trusted online and offline brands which have been around for some time and are well known around the world!
Next, ecommerce. Domain names, hosting, domain name reseller programs, etc.
After that it was Blogging. I love blogging because as an author this is right up my alley. I am able to have fun with this because it allows it to be me and to put on my site whatever I wish. I get to express myself in my unique way and to be able to create what I envisioned from my dreams.
I have the ability to be able to take an "create a blank canvas and create a masterpiece". Blogging over the years has become more than just a hobby though, its business. More corporate entities are using blogs as a way of talking and relating to their online customers. Every bit of experience I had I took with me to the next learning experience.
Next Reseller Program. Reseller Programs provides you with business opportunities without the expending of huge amounts of cash up front. This is a great business model and it covers so many industries
Then. I began Search Engine Marketing. This area in my studies about 3 and a half years ago. This is the area which I found to be the most intriguing because it’s analytic and interesting at the same time. It covers everything Affiliate Marketing to Reputation Management to integral data and IT. Most Search Engine Companies that do this well are the ones who are great at it.
And as the need for companies worldwide to see their business and market grow online, this industry will be around for a long time to come. 2014 being the year that growth in this industry will become greater and greater.
I have learned much in this area and as this area continues to grow, I will also as it remains on the cutting edge as well as the "heart and pulse" of the World Wide Web.
